UCF defeated Memphis 56-41 on Saturday to earn the American Athletic Conference championship.

With the win, Josh Heupel's squad finished the 2018 campaign with a 12-0 record and extended its nation-leading win streak to 25 games.

The Knights received an incredible effort from backup quarterback Darriel Mack Jr., who filled in for the injured McKenzie Milton. Mack totaled six touchdowns - two through the air and four on the ground - versus the Tigers.

UCF now awaits the results of Saturday night's conference championship games, hoping to secure a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Memphis opened the game on a high note, jumping out to a 38-21 halftime lead. However, the Knights stormed back in the second frame to capture their second straight conference title.
