Meyer issues another apology amid return to Ohio State sideline

Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer addressed the Zach Smith scandal again Monday as he returned to work following a three-game suspension.

Meyer, who was allowed to coach at Buckeyes practices during his suspension, repeated his regret for the way he handled the domestic abuse complaint against Smith, his longtime receivers coach.

Meyer heads back to the Ohio State sideline with his team boasting a perfect 3-0 record. He issued multiple statements during his ban about his handling of the Smith situation.

Smith was fired July 23 after his ex-wife filed for a protection order against him and after his history of domestic complaints was brought to light by the media.
