Michigan's Harbaugh confirms Peters has been placed in concussion protocol

Michigan's quarterback dynamic is looking awfully thin, as head coach Jim Harbaugh announced Monday that Brandon Peters has been placed in concussion protocol, according to Dan Murphy of ESPN.

Peters took a big hit from Wisconsin's Andrew Van Ginkel during Saturday's eventual 24-10 loss, and needed to be carted to the locker room before being taken to hospital.

Prior to being injured, Peters had completed 9-of-18 passes for 157 yards. John O'Korn came in to replace the sophomore, completing just 2-of-8 passes for 19 yards the rest of the way.

Harbaugh did not say who the starting quarterback will be for the Wolverines' regular-season finale against Ohio State, and was not willing to say if injured senior Wilton Speight will be cleared for contact during practice this week, according to Murphy.
