Was Michigan robbed of 1st half TD against Wisconsin?

Matthew Emmons / USA TODAY Sports

Offense was at a premium for Michigan during the first half of Saturday's game against Wisconsin, and it didn't help that the Wolverines appeared to come out on the wrong end of a touchdown review.

Michigan wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones reeled in a pass from quarterback Brandon Peters in the second quarter, but was ruled out of bounds by officials. Upon review, Peoples-Jones appeared to have touched his left foot just before his right constituting a touchdown, but the on-field ruling was upheld.

To make matters worse for the Wolverines, Peters scrambled on the very next play and wound up fumbling the ball. The Badgers were able to recover at the one-yard line, capping off a series of unfortunate events for Michigan.
