Report: Mark Sandy to be named Ball State's athletic director

Ball State will reportedly name Mark Sandy its new athletic director, according to ESPN's Brett McMurphy.
The announcement is expected to be made Thursday.
Sandy is currently the athletic director at Eastern Kentucky, where he's been since 2005.
Ball State's position has been open since September, when former athletic director Bill Scholl left for Marquette.
