Saturday's Big 12 matchup between Iowa State and No. 6 Kansas has been postponed after the Cyclones program paused activities due to COVID-19 protocols, the school announced Friday.

"The priority for us is the safety and well-being of everyone in our program," Iowa State head coach Steve Prohm said. "While it is disappointing we won't be able to play this weekend, we look forward to returning to competition when it is safe to do so."

Iowa State is 2-7 and sits 10th in the Big 12. Its last scheduled game was also postponed earlier this week when Kansas State couldn't meet COVID-19 thresholds.

Friday's announcement marks Kansas' second postponement this season.
