Baylor will tip off its 2020-21 season against Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday in Las Vegas after its initial schedule to open the campaign was disrupted following head coach Scott Drew's positive COVID-19 test.

The No. 2 Bears, who only announced their sudden travel plans late Thursday, will then face off against Washington on Sunday.

Baylor was originally scheduled to open its season Wednesday against Arizona State at the Empire Classic. However, the school decided against traveling to the event in Connecticut after Drew announced Sunday that he had tested positive for COVID-19.

Drew is still self-isolating while following COVID-19 protocols, according to The Associated Press.
