The Louisville-Kentucky rivalry just got a little bit spicier.

Louisville head coach Chris Mack said in a video on Tuesday that he's not avoiding the annual "Battle of the Bluegrass" game against Kentucky. The 50-year-old added that his school is prepared to host John Calipari's Wildcats squad this upcoming season.

"I don't want to stand in the way of college basketball's best rivalry," Mack said. "Whatever is most convenient for coach Cal, we'll do it. See ya in the Yum! Center. Go Cards."

Mack initially preferred to play the 2020-21 rivalry matchup at a neutral site, though Calipari was adamant about keeping this season's meeting at the KFC Yum! Center as per the contract agreed upon by both schools.

The Cardinals coach thought it wasn't fair to have a home game with limited fans only to go to a packed Rupp Arena next season.

Mack threw shade at Kentucky throughout the entire two-minute clip. He said the Wildcats "backed out" of the originally scheduled date for the rivalry game and instead booked a matchup with Notre Dame on the same day.

He also referenced how Kentucky's football program agreed to push its rivalry matchup with Louisville to 2021 upon the latter's request.
