Ohio State's Towns detained by police at protest for George Floyd
Ohio State confirmed that grad transfer Seth Towns was detained by police in Columbus during a protest on Friday for George Floyd, according to ESPN's Myron Medcalf.
A video surfaced early Saturday morning with Towns yelling, "Say his name!" while under police custody.
Buckeyes spokesman Dan Wallenberg says the 6-foot-7 forward wasn't arrested for his participation in the rally, according to Medcalf.

On Friday, Ohio State head coach Chris Holtmann and his assistant Terry Johnson voiced their concerns regarding racial injustice on social media.

Holtmann confirmed he spoke with Towns following Friday's events.
"I did talk to Seth last night," Holtmann told Medcalf. "He's back at his apartment. We had a great conversation."
Towns also received support from Harvard bench boss Tommy Amaker, who coached the 2018 Ivy League Player of the Year for a pair of seasons.
"I am aware that recent graduate Seth Towns was detained last night at a rally in Columbus, Ohio," Amaker said in a statement. "I fully support, and am proud of, Seth in his continued fight for social justice, a cause that has been near and dear to his heart since he arrived on campus four years ago."
