Another top prospect is skipping college to turn pro.

Filipino 7-foot-2 center Kai Sotto is set to become the first international prospect to sign a deal in the NBA G League's new development program, The Athletic's Shams Charania reports.

The 18-year-old will join the new California-based team that already features fellow top recruits Jalen Green, Isaiah Todd, and Daishen Nix, Charania adds.

Sotto - who, if drafted, would become the first Philippines-born NBA player - is currently ranked 62nd on the 2020 ESPN 100. He was previously linked to Kentucky, Auburn, DePaul, and Georgia Tech, according to Rivals.

Sotto impressed with averages of 11.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 3.1 blocks in seven games at the 2019 U19 World Cup.
