The Kansas Jayhawks got a win over Stanford on Sunday, but they didn't make it out of the Bay Area cleanly.

The team's plane suffered an engine failure shortly after takeoff from San Jose, forcing it back to the airport. According to the university, the team will spend the night there before returning to Lawrence.

Senior associate athletics director Ryan White tweeted out footage of the incident, which appeared to involve one of the plane's starboard engines.

No. 5 Kansas beat the Cardinal 72-56. The school opens its Big 12 schedule at home against West Virginia on Saturday.
