Juwan Howard was tabbed to replace John Beilein as the next head coach of Michigan on Wednesday, rejoining his alma mater 25 years after playing a starring role for one of the most exciting teams in college basketball history.

The former Miami Heat assistant coach has received plenty of praise since the hiring, especially from Chris Webber, who took to Twitter to remind everyone Howard built himself into the most deserving candidate for the job.

Discussing the Fab Five has been seemingly divisive among some of the former members, namely Webber, who had distanced himself from his teammates after they were stripped of their accomplishments due to a gambling scandal.

Former Fab Five star Jalen Rose celebrated Howard's hiring on ESPN's "Get Up" on Thursday, saying, "Those days are over. Not seeing eye to eye. There will not be any disrespect to the program. There will not be any sideshows. There will not be any friction among the Fab Five."

When asked if the hiring will bring Rose and Webber together again, Rose responded, "Yes. Absolutely."

Howard has now received his first head coaching gig after spending six seasons under Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra.
