Memphis head coach Penny Hardaway continues to add top-tier talent, as No. 17-ranked recruit Precious Achiuwa announced his commitment to the program for the 2019-20 season on Friday.

The five-star prospect is joining an increasingly stacked Tigers core ahead of Hardaway's second season at the helm. Memphis now owns the No. 1 recruiting class in the country, according to ESPN's Jeff Borzello.

In addition to Achiuwa, Memphis has secured commitments from top-ranked center James Wiseman, five-star forward D.J. Jeffries, and top-40 combo guard Rejean "Boogie" Ellis, who recently decommitted from Duke for an opportunity to play a larger role with the Tigers.

Along with the incoming young talent, Memphis was able to land Little Rock graduate transfer Rayjon Tucker. The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 20.3 points and 6.7 rebounds in his junior campaign with the Trojans.
