Few adds that he's hopeful Tillie, who's suffering from a partially torn fascia, can return for the postseason. Tillie suffered the injury midway through the second half of Thursday's win over San Francisco.
"We feel terrible for Killian," Few said in a statement. "He is an incredible teammate and an absolute joy to coach. Killian is a tough kid."
The Frenchman is struggling through an injury-plagued 2018-19 season, missing Gonzaga's first 15 games while recovering from surgery to repair a stress fracture in his ankle.
Hopes were high for Tillie after he finished last season as the Bulldogs' second-leading scorer, averaging 12.9 points per contest. He was also named to the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award preseason watch list, annually given to college basketball's top center.
Tillie is averaging six points in 12.2 minutes per game through nine games played this season. He can stretch the floor, too, and is shooting 47 percent from downtown over his first two collegiate seasons.
