Eddie Denard, the coach in LaVar Ball's Junior Basketball Association who was seen shoving and berating one of his players during a timeout, is out of a job.

JBA announcers Brandon Williams and Allen Bell revealed Denard had been replaced by Nicolas Colon as head coach of the Chicago Ballers prior to the team's game against the Dallas Ballers on Thursday. Williams also referred to Denard as someone "who we all have high regard for."

Ball has yet to announce Denard's firing, but he did speak about the incident in an interview with FOX 5 DC on Tuesday. While he initially downplayed Denard's actions, Ball did acknowledge they were "inappropriate" and said he would "knock him out" if it was one of his sons in that situation.

Montrell Dixson, the player who was shoved by Denard, also addressed the incident on Facebook.

"I'll cut the record straight as of now! I didn't react like everybody wanted me to cause I know how to keep my composure when needed to," he wrote. "If I would've acted crazy I'd be the kid know for fightin his coach on national TV."
