LaVar Ball's Junior Basketball Association came under fire recently after Chicago Ballers head coach Eddie Denard was seen shoving and berating one of his players, Montrell Dixson, during a timeout.

While the JBA has declined to say whether Denard was punished, Ball did address the incident in an interview with FOX 5 DC. He initially downplayed it, stating that Denard is an intense coach.

"It's just the intensity of the game," Ball said. "It's not like the guy has a bad character of beating up kids or something like that. But, my sons just scored 171 points. Both of them had triple-doubles. Ain't nobody talking about the positive. So you looking for anything negative about the JBA."

"I'm not saying, 'OK, this guy, he's not swinging or nothing like that.' He's just very intense," Ball added. "It just happened at a bad moment. A part of the game. But it's nothing like sending guys to the military at 18. You don't think they're cussing at those guys at 18 years old, sending them over there to war?"

However, when asked how he'd react if it was one of his sons in that situation, Ball replied, "I'd knock him out. How's that? Violence shall be met with violence."

Ball went on to say that Denard's actions were "inappropriate" and he's "not condoning this at all."
