College may be the best four years of your life, but family is always first.

Arizona State head coach Bobby Hurley made it clear there is no conflict when picking between his alma mater Duke and Rhode Island, a team his brother Dan has coached since 2012.

"I love Duke, but Dan's family," Bobby said, according to ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

Duke and Rhode Island will go head-to-head in the Round of 32 in the NCAA tournament. Despite Bobby's historic run with the Blue Devils - he won two national championships in 1991 and 1992 - he said it won't be difficult to root against them.

"It's not hard for me," he said. "I talk to Dan every day. He's my best friend, along with my wife."

Dan's Rams were able to take down Oklahoma in an overtime victory Thursday where they slowed down star guard Trae Young and pulled away late. They'll be heavy underdogs Saturday against one of the favorites of the tournament, but Bobby said he didn't need to help his brother prepare very much.

"I don't need to give him advice," Bobby said. "He knows what they are. We spoke a little about how long they are in the zone, but we didn't talk technical. Dan's excited, he's living in the moment. He thrives in big-game environments like these."

After starting 12-0 and soaring into the top three of the AP Poll this season, the Sun Devils tumbled and were nearly left out of the tournament before sneaking into the First Four, where they fell to Syracuse.
