Purdue center Isaac Haas is planning to find a way to get on the court despite fracturing his elbow in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

Haas is reportedly looking for an NCAA-approved elbow brace, according to Nicole Auerbach of The Athletic. He wore a brace for Sunday's contest, but it was not approved by the NCAA.

Head coach Matt Painter has repeatedly ruled out the possibility of a return, and although the door hasn't been completely shut by the coach, the likelihood of the senior big man playing is sounding more unlikely.

"I told (Haas) when he went out 'You got to get two-handed rebounds and you got to shoot right handed free throws,'" Painter told reporters. "So if he can do those two things he can help us because he's going to get fouled. Him going out there and missing two free throws isn't going to help us."

Purdue will take on Texas Tech in the Sweet 16 on Friday.
