Upset Watch: Red-hot Texas A&M looks to take down Michigan

Fresh off a 21-point beatdown of defending national champion North Carolina in the Round of 32, No. 7 Texas A&M will look to keep rolling as an underdog against No. 3 Michigan in the Sweet 16.

The Aggies held the vaunted Tar Heels attack to just 65 points on 33-percent shooting. Roy Williams' outfit entered the game connecting on 37 percent of shots from beyond the arc, but the length of Texas A&M helped to hold them to a paltry 19 percent. Michigan also connects on 36 percent of its shots from deep, but has failed to hit that number in either of their games thus far. If Texas A&M can keep up its perimeter defense, it could be a long day for the Wolverines.

Second chance points won't be plentiful for Michigan as the Wolverines rank 277th in the country in rebounds per game, while the Aggies are fourth in the nation thanks to Tyler Davis and Robert Williams. That dynamic duo is among the best on the boards in the country, both averaging nine rebounds per game this season.

On offense, the Aggies employ a balanced attack that saw all five starters score at least eight points against the Tar Heels. The sharpshooting of D.J. Hogg, Admon Gilder, and T.J. Starks should be enough to make it difficult for Michigan match them.

Given the defensive prowess that Texas A&M showed Sunday, that's going to be hard to do.
