4-star PF Jalen Smith announces commitment to Maryland

Maryland earned a significant victory on the recruiting trail Monday, as four-star power forward Jalen Smith announced that he has committed to the Terps.

Smith finds himself ranked No. 37 on the ESPN 300 for the 2018 class, and had received offers from programs such as Arizona, Miami, Syracuse, USC, Villanova, and Virginia.

Smith joins four-star small forward Aaron Wiggins as the second ESPN 100 recruit to commit to the Terps for 2018 thus far.
