We may never know if Greg McDermott was offered the Ohio State job, but the Creighton coach made it clear Thursday he has no interest in leaving his current stomping grounds.

"A wise man once said, you don't mess with happy," McDermott told reporters hours after tweeting his decision to stay at Creighton, according to Omaha Sports Insider.

McDemott was reportedly offered the Ohio State job late Wednesday night, but stated on Twitter a day later that he's "looking forward to many more great years in Omaha."

The 52-year-old owns a 165-81 record with the Bluejays and has taken the program to four NCAA tournaments in seven years.

"This is the place for me," he added, according to Creighton's sports information director, Rob Anderson.
