Arizona president: Ohio State will get Sean Miller 'over my dead body'

It looks like everyone can relax on the Sean Miller-to-Ohio State speculation, as Arizona's president made it clear that the revered basketball coach isn't going anywhere.

"The Ohio State University is a great university, but they are not going to get Coach Miller," Dr. Robert Robbins told Anne Ryman of The Arizona Republic. "They will have to come over me to get him, as the saying goes, over my dead body."

The Buckeyes and Thad Matta parted ways earlier this week due to increased health issues for the highly successful coach, leaving the program scrambling to find a new frontman well into the offseason.

While Miller would certainly be at the top of the Buckeyes' wishlist, it's unlikely the 48-year-old would leave Arizona regardless of his president's comments. The Wildcats are likely to be the No. 1 team in the country heading into the 2017-18 season after pulling in an impressive recruiting haul to complement returning stars Rawle Alkins and Allonzo Trier.

The Board of Regents at Arizona recently approved a contract extension for Miller through 2022, increasing his salary and making him eligible for a multi-million-dollar longevity bonus funded by a private donor.
