Rick Barnes returned to Texas on Friday, but basketball wasn't on his mind.
The former Longhorns head coach was on hand to watch the graduation of one of his former players, T.J. Ford. Barnes coached Ford for two seasons with the program in the early 2000s and his former player was certainly moved by the gesture.
Barnes left to coach Tennessee in 2015 and Ford went on to play eight seasons in the NBA with the Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers, and San Antonio Spurs.
