NBA suspends 4 players for Pistons-Hornets brawl
The NBA suspended Detroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart seven games for his role in Monday's brawl during his team's matchup with the Charlotte Hornets.
Stewart received the longest ban of the four players disciplined Wednesday. The Hornets' Miles Bridges and Moussa Diabate each received four-game suspensions, while Pistons center Jalen Duren was handed a two-game ban.
The NBA said Stewart's "history of unsportsmanlike acts" factored into his stricter punishment. The Pistons big man was on the bench when the fight broke out but ran onto the court to challenge Bridges, who was being held back by coaches from chasing Duren.
The altercation began with just over seven minutes remaining in the third quarter. Duren took exception to a hard foul by Diabate under the basket, and the two butted heads. Duren then pushed Diabate's face away, prompting Bridges to shove the Pistons All-Star in response.

Duren will be allowed to participate in the All-Star Game on Sunday despite his two-game suspension carrying through the break, sources told Prime Video's Chris Haynes.
