Sacramento Kings All-Star De'Aaron Fox has had enough of the speculation surrounding his feelings about former head coach Mike Brown.

"There was never any pushback about anything," Fox wrote in a post on X. "This narrative of us butting heads or me going to management saying anything is bullshit. So you can run with that if you want to."

Fox was responding to a clip from the "Run it Back" podcast where former NBA player Lou Williams claimed Brown lost the Kings' locker room. Williams said Fox pushed back against always being singled out.

Williams also claimed Brown considered having DeMar DeRozan come off the bench.

The Kings fired Brown on Friday, a day after he called out Fox for a costly defensive error in a loss to the Detroit Pistons.

Fox didn't show much sympathy when addressing Brown's firing, saying, "He's still getting paid."

There were reports earlier in December that Fox's agent, Rich Paul, met with Sacramento's front office to discuss the guard's future. The 27-year-old hadn't requested a trade, but he and Paul were "reading the room."

Sacramento named Doug Christie interim head coach, but he lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in his coaching debut Saturday.

The Kings have now lost six straight games and sit 12th in the Western Conference at 13-19. They take on the Dallas Mavericks on Monday.
