Jimmy Butler wants the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks to know they got off lucky.

In a video that went viral on social media Saturday, Butler said he would've eliminated both Eastern Conference clubs had he not been battling an MCL sprain in his right knee.

"If I was playing, Boston would be at home, New York damn sure would be fucking at home," he said.

The Heat vet also addressed his former head coach Tom Thibodeau, for whom he suited up on both the Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves.

"I love Thibs, but I don't want Thibs," Butler said. "Thibs, I love you, baby. I want to beat you - to a pulp. You want me, I don't want you. It's like a one-sided relationship - you in love with me, and I love you, but I'm not in love with you."

Butler also trash-talked Josh Hart when asked about the Knicks wing.

Hart appeared flabbergasted to be catching a stray from Butler:

Butler missed Miami's entire first-round series against Boston after getting injured in its play-in loss against the Philadelphia 76ers on April 17. In two regular-season games against the Celtics, he scored 17 and 14 points as the Heat lost both. He did fare much better against the Knicks, averaging 22.7 points, five rebounds, and 4.3 assists in three games. However, Miami went just 1-2 against New York.
