LeBron, Durant leading All-Star fan vote

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant lead the first update of fan voting ahead of the 2023 All-Star Game, the league announced Thursday.

James is followed by reigning Finals MVP Stephen Curry and MVP candidate Luka Doncic as the Western Conference's leading vote-getters.

In the Eastern Conference, Durant is followed by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid. Durant's co-star in Brooklyn, Kyrie Irving, leads all East guards.

The top 10 vote-getters among each conference's guards and frontcourt players are below.

The fan vote concludes Jan. 21 and will be weighted to account for 50% of the final vote, with current players and a media panel contributing 25% each to the final vote. Starters will be announced Jan. 26, while reserves - selected by NBA head coaches - will be announced Feb. 2 on TNT.

The 2023 All-Star Game is scheduled for Feb. 19 in Salt Lake City.
