Memphis Grizzlies star point guard Ja Morant heaped praise on his team following their 10th straight victory, a 116-108 win over the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday.

"Number one, we're one of the best teams in the league - I feel like that's number one. And number two, we're showing how deep our roster is," Morant said postgame, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon. "No matter what's thrown at us, we bounce back from it and come out and win games. We've got to keep it rolling, continue to play together, continue to battle."

Memphis' franchise-best winning streak helped it move up to fourth in the Western Conference with a 29-14 record. The Grizzlies won 20 of their last 24 contests, last losing Dec. 23.

Morant's been front and center throughout the 10-game winning run, averaging 27.9 points on 52.2% shooting and 46.9% efficiency from distance, 6.4 assists, and 6.2 rebounds in the nine games he played.

Much of Memphis' success results from its tenacious hustle and blazing speed. The team ranks first in fast-break points, paint points, and second-chance points, having finished top in each statistic last season. They've relied more on depth this campaign - four players average 16 or more points per game (Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr., Dillon Brooks, and Desmond Bane).

Morant and Co. notably persevered through a challenging run, with wins over the Warriors, Phoenix Suns, and Brooklyn Nets, as well as two victories against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Grizzlies will look to secure their 11th consecutive win when they square off with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday.
