Irving sustained the injury after taking an inadvertent elbow in the face from Nikola Vucevic while fighting for a rebound.
The floor general registered 13 points, five assists, and three rebounds in 21 minutes before leaving the game.
Head coach Steve Nash said postgame that Irving didn't suffer a concussion and X-Rays came back inconclusive, according to ESPN's Malika Andrews. Irving will undergo further tests Wednesday morning.
Irving's injury comes after Brooklyn already secured a top-three playoff seed in the Eastern Conference with three regular-season contests remaining. The Nets (45-24) will have a nearly week-long layoff between their final regular-season game and the start of the playoffs on May 22.
Brooklyn is also currently without James Harden, although the three-time scoring champion is nearing a return from a hamstring injury that's kept him sidelined since April 5.
