NBA Tuesday player props: Fade Randle, Edwards from deep

Dejounte Murray went off, Andrew Wiggins was limited, and we ultimately split Monday's player props.

Here's what we're rolling with for Tuesday's 11-game slate.

Julius Randle under 2.5 made threes

I was expecting 1.5 on Randle's 3-pointers tonight, so I'll take this number with open arms.

Randle's cooled off after sinking three or more triples in six straight matchups - he's a combined 1-of-14 from beyond the arc over his previous three.

The Lakers surrender the third-fewest 3-point makes per game (11.4) in basketball, as well as the fourth-fewest triples per contest to power forwards (1.9).

Anthony Edwards under 2.5 made threes

The Jazz give up the fewest 3-point makes per game this season at 10.9. The second best in that department? The Pistons (11.3), a team that's not even in the top half of the league in defensive efficiency.

Another area where Detroit's been money lately is against small forwards - the unit ranks No. 7 in the NBA in points, No. 8 in field-goal percentage, and No. 1 in 3-point makes allowed per game to the position across the last 30.

This all spells bad news for Edwards from the perimeter.

Outside of a blistering 8-of-9 night from deep against the Grizzlies last Tuesday, the rookie's been held under this number in five of his last six.

This is one of the most underrated plays on the slate.

Bruce Brown over 4.5 rebounds

Brown can do a little bit of everything for the powerhouse Nets, and tonight, he should go bonkers on the glass.

Although the Bulls rank No. 3 in rebounds allowed per game (48.9), the club's allowed a league-high 8.3 to shooting guards over the last seven.

Brown's cashed this total in two of his last three starts despite seeing fewer than 20 minutes per game.

Dillon Brooks under 17.5 points

Volume alone will make this a sweat - Brooks is averaging 16.7 field goals per contest over the last seven - but I'll bet on the Mavericks' defense in this spot. Dallas is allowing the lowest field-goal percentage (40.8%) and fourth-fewest points to small forwards across the last 30.

Michael Porter Jr. over 1.5 assists

I'd much rather bet Porter's point total and recklessly root for one of the game's purest offensive players to go scorched earth, but I can't stop staring at his assist total.

The 22-year-old's cashed this number in five of his last nine, seeing 35.5 minutes per contest. Porter draws the Hornets, which rank No. 28 in the NBA in assists per made field goal and No. 29 in assists per game given up to small forwards (4.9).
