NBA Wednesday player props: Bet Zach LaVine, fade Danny Green

We posted a dud Tuesday after sweeping the board Monday, but still sit a comfortable 5-3 on the week.

Here's what we're dialed in on for Wednesday's monster 12-game slate.

Zach LaVine over 3.5 made threes

Only four players have attempted more 3-pointers per game over their last seven contests than LaVine (9.3). The Bulls guard, fresh off his first All-Star appearance, could produce a banner day against the Magic if his volume holds.

Orlando ranks No. 26 in the NBA in both defensive efficiency and 3-pointers allowed per matchup. They've specifically struggled against shooting guards this season, giving up the fifth-most points while allowing the league's seventh-highest shooting percentage.

Danny Green under 1.5 assists

Green won't fill the assist column on a nightly basis. One of the top 3-and-D specialists has never averaged over two assists per contest during a single campaign.

The 76ers' offense overall doesn't generate many buckets off assists. Their 0.564 assists per made field goal is the NBA's fourth-lowest clip.

The Nets' defense, meanwhile, only gives up 0.582 assists per game (No. 8), and it allows 3.6 assists per contest to small forwards, the league's seventh-best mark.

Kelly Olynyk over 24.5 points + rebounds + assists

I'm fading the Pacers' defense during the second of back-to-back games and playing Olynyk to get over the total here.

The 29-year-old was shipped from the Heat to the Rockets in the Victor Oladipo deal a few weeks ago. So far, he's made a significant impact with his new franchise.

Olynyk is averaging 16.9 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 10 games with Houston after recording 10.0, 6.1, and 2.1, respectively, across 38 games with the Heat. He's shattered his points, rebounds, and assists combined total in seven straight contests, and Olynyk draws an Indiana unit that ranks bottom-eight in the league in points, rebounds, and assists allowed to power forwards.

Pascal Siakam over 1.5 made threes

Siakam's 3-point total Tuesday against the Hawks opened at 2.5, and it was bet down to 1.5. Despite pouring in 30 points on an effective 13-of-19 shooting overall, smart bettors were right, and Siakam was limited to just 1-of-5 from beyond the arc.

The Raptors' key cog can't buy a triple these days. He's connected on just three of his last 22 attempts, and Siakum hasn't sunk multiple shots from deep in each of his last five games.

Toronto hasn't been shy from the perimeter this season, with its offense ranking No. 4 in 3-point frequency (45.5%). That should continue against the Spurs, who are No. 23 in the NBA in opponent's 3-point percentage.

If Siakam can't get a few to fall tonight, it's officially time to hit the panic button.

Eric Bledsoe under 2.5 made threes

The Pelicans shoot threes at the seventh-lowest rate in basketball (35.1%). The Knicks' defense, meanwhile, paces the NBA in 3-point percentage allowed (33.8%) while surrendering just 12 per game, which ranks in the top third of the league.

Bledsoe hasn't drilled three-plus from distance in four straight contests, and he's in for another brutal draw against a unit that holds point guards to just 41.9% shooting from the floor.
