NBA Monday player props: Take Booker's boards vs. Rockets

Monday's NBA slate features nine games and plenty of value across the board.

Let's start the week off on the right foot. Here are the top props we're rolling with on Monday.

Devin Booker over 4.5 rebounds

The Rockets allow the most rebounds per game in the league (56.8), but they limited the Suns to just 37 during last week's meeting. Still, Booker helped us out in this exact same spot in that contest, collecting six boards to surpass his total of 5.5. We'll circle back and take the over at an even better number.

Houston is giving up six-plus rebounds per game to shooting guards this season, and Booker has posted five-plus boards against the Rockets in six straight meetings.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Dillon Brooks under 1.5 made threes

The Grizzlies haven't relied on long-range shooting. Only the Spurs shoot threes less frequently than Memphis (33.1%), a team that also ranks No. 26 in attempts (30.5) and makes (10.9) per contest.

Memphis' opponent Monday covers the perimeter well. The Bulls are tied for second in 3-point makes allowed per game (11.3) this season, and they're on pace to finish top three in that department for the second straight year.

Here, we'll fade Brooks. He's attempted five or fewer triples in five of his last seven starts, and the 25-year-old draws a defense giving up just 2.16 makes per game to small forwards, the league's second-best mark.

Donovan Mitchell under 6.5 assists

You see a high total, decent pace, and good guard play, and it's easy to fall in love with overs. However, Mitchell's assist total under is my favorite play in this tilt.

The Jazz's offense has been brilliant this season. The club is No. 3 in the NBA in scoring, No. 5 in efficiency, and No. 1 in both 3-point percentage and makes per game.

However, if we're nitpicking, Utah doesn't create many points off assists. The team records just 0.567 dimes per made field goal, the sixth-fewest in the league.

The Wizards' defense, meanwhile, enters the week dead-last in points allowed per game (118.8), yet ranks No. 4 in assists per made field goal given up (0.564).

Mitchell has notched five or fewer dimes in seven straight outings, and he faces a unit coughing up the fifth-fewest in the league per contest to shooting guards (4.2).

This is a slam dunk, no pun intended.

Brandon Ingram over 2.5 made threes

The Pelicans' perimeter offense needs a get-right game in the worst way. The club is averaging just 5.7 triples on a dreadful 23.3% clip over its last three outings. But here comes a matchup against the league's worst 3-point shooting defense.

Let's make a play on Ingram, whose production hasn't tapered off amid the team's slump. He's canned three-plus attempts from deep in eight of his last 11, and Ingram now faces a Kings defense giving up the second-highest field-goal percentage to small forwards.
