Friday's contest between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Atlanta Hawks provided fans with quite the eye-jarring experience.

Oklahoma City sported its orange statement jerseys, while Atlanta donned its red away uniforms.

An apparent glitch in the NBA's uniform selection system allowed the clashing color combination. The league subsequently requested a uniform change.

Since the Hawks were only carrying red jerseys for their away game, the Thunder switched into their white uniforms to start the second half.

"The Hawks are wearing the incorrect uniform color for the game," the Thunder said in a statement, according to Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman. "The league process of inputting uniform colors should have caught the orange/red combo."

Oklahoma City won Friday's affair 118-109.
