Los Angeles Lakers guard Dennis Schroder will miss at least two more games due to the NBA's health and safety protocols, head coach Frank Vogel told reporters Saturday, including The Athletic's Jovan Buha.

Schroder is currently undergoing a seven-day quarantine after contract tracing determined he could have been exposed to the coronavirus, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The 27-year-old has reportedly tested negative for COVID-19.

Schroder didn't play in Thursday's contest against the Brooklyn Nets and was already ruled out for Saturday's Finals rematch vs. the Miami Heat.

The Lakers are already without All-Star big man Anthony Davis for approximately four weeks.

Veteran sharpshooter Wesley Matthews started in Schroder's place on Thursday.

Los Angeles acquired Schroder in an offseason deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The former first-round pick has started in all 29 of his appearances this season and has averaged 14.2 points and 4.3 assists during his first campaign with the purple and gold.
