The NBA's All-Star Weekend plans appear to be coming together.

The league intends to stage the Skills Challenge and Three-Point Contest prior to the All-Star Game on March 7, while the Slam Dunk contest will take place during halftime of the annual midseason exhibition, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Players participating in the All-Star festivities are required to travel to Atlanta one day prior through private transportation and depart following the All-Star Game, according to Charania.

The All-Stars are allowed to bring a limited number of family members with them, though they must undergo regular COVID-19 testing, according to an NBA memo that ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski obtained.

Both players and their guests can only leave the designated hotel to attend All-Star events, adds Wojnarowski.

The memo also states that all players must report back to their home markets two days prior to their first game after the All-Star break.

The NBA has informed clubs that the second half of the season will begin March 10-12, according to a memo that Tim Reynolds of The Associated Press obtained.
