Dallas Mavericks forward Maxi Kleber tested positive for COVID-19 Sunday, sources told ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

He is now quarantining for 10-14 days in accordance with the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Kleber is set to miss the Mavericks' next five games against the New Orleans Pelicans, Charlotte Hornets, Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls, and Toronto Raptors.

Following Kleber's reported positive test, the team shut down its practice facility, MacMahon reports.

Dallas reportedly had another player test positive Friday. The Mavericks haven't identified the individual in question; however, Dorian Finney-Smith, Josh Richardson, and Jalen Brunson missed Saturday's 112-98 win over the Orlando Magic due to health and safety protocols.

Kleber, meanwhile, played over 23 minutes in the contest.

Brunson, Finney-Smith, and Richardson are still quarantining in Denver, according to MacMahon.

Kleber is averaging 7.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists over nine games this season. He's also shooting 47.1% on 3.8 3-point attempts per contest.
