LeBron James is eager to see what new hurdles his critics may set out for him.

The Los Angeles Lakers star took to Instagram early Tuesday morning, giving a special shout out to his loudest detractors just days after winning his fourth championship and fourth NBA Finals MVP.

"Up in (smoke) tour. What they gone say now?!?!" James wrote. "I know they'll make up another criteria that nobody else has ever had in the history of the game. But guess what, though, bring it on please!! Heavy is the head that holds the (crown) they say. Let's get it!"

Perhaps unsurprisingly, comparisons between James and Michael Jordan dominated headlines immediately following the former's latest conquest. Many still consider the Chicago Bulls legend the greatest to ever play the game after he won six NBA championships over two separate three-peats throughout the '90s, winning Finals MVP in all of them.

James, though, is happy to let others argue about who stands alone as basketball's true GOAT.

"You guys know how much I love Michael Jordan," he told ESPN's Rachel Nichols immediately following the Lakers' NBA Finals victory Sunday. "I wear No. 23 because of Michael Jordan.

"When I first got my first pair of Jordans, I was - you couldn't tell me nothing. So, y'all can do the debates. Y'all can figure that out."
