Ex-Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Billy Donovan appears to be in high demand.

He interviewed for the Indiana Pacers' head coaching vacancy last week and is expected to join former Houston Rockets bench boss Mike D'Antoni and Los Angeles Clippers assistant Tyronn Lue in the Philadelphia 76ers' next round of interviews, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Donovan and the Thunder recently parted ways after five seasons. He guided Oklahoma City to a surprise playoff berth in 2019-20 after the club traded Paul George and Russell Westbrook during the offseason.

The 55-year-old was voted NBCA co-coach of the year and finished third in this season's NBA Coach of the Year race.

Donovan made a successful transition to the NBA in 2015 following a collegiate coaching career that included a pair of national championships with Florida. He registered a 243-157 record during his Thunder tenure and reached the playoffs in each of his five seasons.
