Milwaukee Bucks swingman Khris Middleton will return Wednesday from a seven-game absence due to a left thigh contusion, he announced via the team Tuesday.

Middleton was originally expected to miss 3-4 weeks after suffering the injury on Nov. 10. Coach Mike Budenholzer said the 28-year-old will be on a minutes restriction when the Bucks face the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, according to The Athletic's Eric Nehm.

Middleton's absence went as well as possible for Milwaukee, which won all seven games without him. Giannis Antetokounmpo, in particular, has shouldered the load, averaging 33.1 points and logging a 39.7 usage percentage during the stretch.
