Boston Celtics guard Kemba Walker was stretchered off the court after colliding with teammate Semi Ojeleye in the second quarter against the Denver Nuggets on Friday.

Walker was transported to the hospital with concussion-like symptoms. Following tests, he was released and rejoined the Celtics for their flight back to Boston, the team announced early Saturday. The guard will be re-evaluated, with further updates to be provided.

Walker was chasing after a loose ball when he inadvertently ran into Ojeleye's torso with his head down and immediately fell to the floor.

Alternate angles of the play illustrate the awkward position Walker's neck was in when he made contact with Ojeleye.

Walker remained motionless for several minutes but appeared to be speaking with the Celtics' training staff. He was later loaded onto the stretcher and immobilized before being carted out of the arena.
