Kyle Kuzma of the Los Angeles Lakers has signed an endorsement deal with Puma, he confirmed Wednesday.

It's a five-year contract, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The development comes on the heels of reports that Nike declined to match Puma's contract offer to the forward. Kuzma has also been spotted wearing Pumas at Lakers camp this week.

The 24-year-old Kuzma is the latest addition to the German apparel maker's NBA lineup, which skews toward younger, up-and-coming players. Deandre Ayton, RJ Barrett, Marvin Bagley III, and Terry Rozier are already on Puma's roster.

Kuzma is currently injured and not participating in Lakers camp due to a stress reaction in his left foot.
