In some minor roster housekeeping ahead of the start of free agency on June 30, the Toronto Raptors tendered qualifying offers to guards Patrick McCaw and Nando De Colo, league sources told Yahoo Sports contributor Keith Smith.

By extending the qualifying offers, the reigning champions will hold the right to match any offer sheet the players sign with an opposing team.

Following an acrimonious departure from the Golden State Warriors and a brief stop with the Cleveland Cavaliers, McCaw landed with the Raptors for the home stretch. In 26 regular-season appearances, the 23-year-old scored 2.7 points in 13.2 minutes per game en route to his third NBA title.

De Colo hasn't appeared in the NBA since the 2013-14 campaign, when the Raptors acquired him from the San Antonio Spurs in a midseason deal. Now 32, the 6-foot-5 point guard has built a reputation as one of the top international players outside the NBA, capturing EuroLeague MVP honors in 2016 and helping steer Russian powerhouse CSKA Moscow to a pair of league titles.

The native of France recently told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski that he's asked his representatives to assess the possibility of a stateside return. However, as De Colo was under contract when he returned to Europe, the Raptors retain his rights.
