Drake made plenty of headlines for his trolling of the Golden State Warriors during the NBA Finals but was noticeably absent from the games at Oracle Arena. Now we know why.

Multiple sources told TMZ Sports that the NBA asked Drake not to travel to Oakland, Calif., due to "security concerns." The league was reportedly worried about the possibility of Warriors fans taunting or throwing things at the Toronto Raptors' global ambassador.

Drake's father, Dennis Graham, confirmed to TMZ that his son was asked to stay away from Oracle.

"When people see you in Toronto and you're making sideline things like that you have to be careful," Graham said. "With the rowdy fans, you can't take chances."

Drake ended up watching Game 6 with the fans at Toronto's Jurassic Park and later joined the Raptors in Las Vegas to celebrate their first NBA championship.
