Undrafted guard Luguentz Dort will reportedly sign a two-way contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to ESPN's Jonathan Givony.

Dort is part of the recent wave of top-flight Canadian basketball prospects and is set to become the first NBA player from Montreal since Joel Anthony. He emerged as the Sun Devils' go-to player in his freshman season, winning Pac-12 Rookie of the Year honors.

Bio

Position: SG
School: Arizona State
College Experience: Freshman
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 222 lbs
Wingspan: 6-foot-8
Max Vertical: 38 inches

Strengths

  • Has a quick first step and gets to the rim handily; isn't afraid to bang and can finish through contact thanks to his football player-like build.
  • Strong, active defender who can switch onto larger forwards.
  • High-motor player who always appears to be hustling.

Weaknesses

  • Shooting remains a work in progress. Hit just 30.7 percent of his 3-point shots on more than five attempts per game at ASU.
  • Must improve his foul shooting (shot 70 percent from the line) as a player who figures to draw some contact.
