Canadians lived up to their polite reputation following the Toronto Raptors' historic Game 6 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday evening.

No arrests were made despite thousands of people packing the streets to celebrate the club's first-ever Finals berth, Toronto Police confirmed to Global News' Mackay Taggart.

But that doesn't necessarily mean there wasn't any mayhem.

Raptors fans gathered at various locations, clogging intersections and climbing on top of vehicles.

Guard Jeremy Lin was greeted by a mob of people as he drove out of Scotiabank Arena.

The celebrations went long into the night as fans continued to chant and soak in the moment.

The Raptors will take on the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, beginning Thursday in Toronto.
