Following a seven-year stretch of stable ratings, the 2019 NBA All-Star Game suffered a noticeable dip in its television viewership.

Sunday's contest at Charlotte's Spectrum Center earned a combined 3.8 rating across TNT and TBS, tying the 2008 and 2010 games for the lowest score since 1990, according to Sports Media Watch.

The approximate 6.8-million viewers were the second-fewest during that span and down 11 percent from the previous year.
