Stephen Curry has been showing his hometown plenty of love during NBA All-Star Weekend.

In addition to gifting custom jerseys and shoes to his alma mater, the Golden State Warriors star also helped renovate the Carole Hoefener Center in Charlotte, where he and his younger brother Seth spent time as children.

The Stephen and Ayesha Curry Family Foundation, in partnership with Under Armour and Chase, unveiled the completed renovation Friday. The upgrades include a refurbished basketball gym and a new education space.

Under Armour had parties planned for All-Star Weekend, but Steph requested that the company put its entire budget into renovating the 20-year-old center instead, according to ESPN's Nick DePaula. The NBA Players' Association will also be contributing $150,000 to the project over the next three years.

"We picked the Carole Hoefener Center for a specific reason," Steph said. "Their priorities are very similar to our family's, in terms of giving people equal opportunities in education, access to knowledge about nutrition and wellness, and having a safe and inspiring place to play."
