NBA fans who wish to watch only a fraction of a basketball game can now do so at a fraction of the price.

League Pass will begin offering the ability to purchase games by the quarter, starting with Monday's slate of contests, according to The Action Network's Darren Rovell.

Under the previous system, fans could purchase individual out-of-market games at $6.99 each. Here's how the pricing breaks down under the new system:

Length Price
Full Game $6.99
Final 3 Quarters $4.99
2nd Half $2.99
4th Quarter $1.99

The new pricing menu will allow fans to tune in late without paying the full-game price, which, as Rovell notes, could prove lucrative with the betting community.
