Draymond Green's return to action is just around the corner.

There was a chance that the three-time All-Star forward could have suited up Friday night at the Fiserv Forum against the Milwaukee Bucks, as Green was seen on the floor during pre-game shootaround. Golden State ultimately elected to hold him out, though, choosing instead to give him a few more days rest before returning.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said he "would fully expect him (Green) to play on Monday" against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Oracle Arena, according to the Mercury News' Mark Medina.

Green will have missed 11 straight games and 14 of the last 16 as a result of a sprained toe in his right foot. The defending two-time champions have gone 7-6 during his absence.

Through 13 appearances, the 28-year-old defensive stalwart is averaging 6.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 1.8 steals on 44.4 percent shooting for the 17-9 Warriors.
