Kyrie after tweaking shoulder Thursday: 'I'll be all right'
Kyrie Irving appeared to suffer a shoulder injury late in the Boston Celtics' 128-100 win over the New York Knicks on Thursday night, but the guard says he'll be fine.
"It was just a weird play at the end of the game," Irving said postgame, according to ESPN's Tim Bontemps. "I don't know. It's like I got caught up as I was trying to get the ball out and pass it to Marcus (Smart) for a three. It just caught me weird on my shoulder.
"So it's probably an AC joint or something like that. I'm not diagnosing myself, I'm pretty sure. I saw the doctors afterward and they said AC joint or something going on there, but I'll be all right."
The 26-year-old reacted in pain at the time of the incident:

He was immediately subbed out, though with only 3:34 left in the fourth quarter and the Celtics up 116-97, there was little need for the five-time All-Star to stay in the game anyway.
Irving has played a central role in the Celtics' four-game winning streak, averaging 24.5 points on 53.7 percent shooting with 7.8 assists, four rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game.
